GridIron Fantasy Sports Acquires World Championship of Fantasy Football

ST. LOUIS, May 11, 2007 - GridIron Fantasy Sports LLC announced today that it has acquired the assets and rights to the World Championship of Fantasy Football from Fantasy Championships Inc., for undisclosed terms.

Beginning in 2002, Fantasy Sports Championships, Inc. established the World Championship of Fantasy Football as the premier event in fantasy sports.  The 4-month long event begins with a draft during the opening weekend of the NFL season and culminates with the crowning of the World Champion after Week 16 of the NFL season is completed.  In 2006, the World Champion was awarded a cash prize of $200,000, and drafts were held in both Las Vegas and Atlantic City.  This year, the event will be expanded to a third city, with Orlando added to the available draft locations.  The draft will take place on September 8^th, 2007, with the anticipation that the first place cash award will exceed a quarter of a million dollars.  In total, the field of players will be competing for over a million dollars in cash awards.
